Between you and me

Two separate elements exist in this work, with a blue loop weaving them together. Negative spaces add depth and perspective while the curving loop brings movement to the work. I am exploring a psychological paradox, a desire to be close and intimate alongside a desire not to lose one’s separate identity. My choice of colours helps to differentiate the contrasting elements and emphasises separateness.
